Glenn Lumanog

Glenn is an innovator, entrepreneur, inventor, and a leading technology thought leader in the fields of power electronics, embedded system hardware, and advanced analog/digital power conversion solutions, with a specialized focus on mission-critical installations in the cleantech and high technology industries for over 25 years.

As the Founder and CEO of Equinox Power Innovations Inc., Glenn has driven the development of groundbreaking solutions addressing the challenges of electrical power distribution, especially in EV charging, 5G Telecom, and renewable energy sectors. His leadership was crucial in securing contracts worth over $2.5 million in the company's inaugural year, along with a successful Patent Licensing Agreement with a reputable partner company for the commercialization of Equinox Power's proprietary Modulated Current™ technology.

At Alpha Technologies (which was acquired by Enersys in 2018), as the Principal Electrical Engineer, Glenn's role as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Remote Line Powering solutions led to the creation of next-generation power products. His contributions were pivotal, particularly in ensuring robust power and battery backup for 4G/LTE and the nascent 5G networks. He invented the pioneering "touch safe" technology solution for the company.

Prior to his endeavours at Equinox, Glenn was instrumental in shaping the technology roadmap of Portable Electric Ltd. as the VP of Innovation and R&D. He spearheaded the team of talented engineers where they orchestrated the development of the new generation VOLTstack 30 e-Generators, marking a shift towards clean energy alternatives to traditional generators.

Glenn acquired and refined his expertise in switched-mode power supply design during his eight-year tenure at Emerson Network Power starting in 2003. Being a Design Manager at Emerson underscored his capacity to mentor and guide a team of engineers in creating power solutions for diverse applications, affirming his status as a field expert and technical leader.

Glenn's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Mindanao State University, where he graduated in 1997 with honors.
